The terms on which Cape Motivate provides its firearm-licensing services.

Cape Motivate provides firearm-licensing support services, including motivation letters, licence and competency applications, renewals, business and estate transfers. We prepare and compile submissions to meet SAPS requirements and the Firearms Control Act. We are a consultancy; we are not SAPS and do not issue licences.
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and truthful information and documents. The quality and accuracy of what you submit directly affects the quality of the application we can prepare. Providing false information may result in your application being declined and is your responsibility, not ours.
Our 48-hour turnaround is a preparation target for standard applications once we have your complete documents. Processing and approval times after submission are determined by SAPS and are outside our control. We cannot guarantee that any application will be approved.
If a licence application is declined specifically due to a deficiency in a motivation we prepared, we will refund the fee for that motivation. The guarantee does not apply to declines caused by incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you, by SAPS processing decisions, or by factors outside the motivation itself.
Fees are agreed before work begins. Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable as invoiced. Cape Motivate's pricing and terms may be updated from time to time; the terms that apply are those agreed at the time you engage us.
